Before You Order

1) Now that orders have slowed down a bit, I can order prints from my prefered print shop once I receive your order. I have the finished prints sent to me so I can inspect them for damage and quality. I usually get the prints back within 3 days via USPS Priority Mail. I inspect them then repackage and send them to you also using USPS Priority Mail.

2) I have all ordered prints mounted on a single weight matboard to reduce the chance of the print being damaged during shipping. The prints you receive will be ready for framing. I will sign, date and number the back of the matboard on which your photo is mounted. I plan to only print 20 copies of a photo before deleting the file, so it is best if you don't wait to place an order. Also a photo can be taken off the market at any time because exclusive rights are purchased for a publication. Due to the unpredictable behavior and movements of trout it is possible that I may never take photos like this again.... although you can be sure that I will try.

3) If you desire, I can frame the print for you for an additional cost. $25 additional for a 5X7. $35 additional for an 8x10. $45 additional for an 11X14. I have black studio type frames that are single or double matted on hand. All the prints I have mounted in this type frame look great. If you prefer another type frame, I will have to purchase it and this will increase the amount of time you should allow for delivery and most likely the cost will increase. It is really difficult to make these prints look bad no matter what frame you use. I can take a shot of the photo you request in a frame then email it to you so you can decide if you would like to purchase it.

4) I print all photos I sell on metallic paper. This paper makes the colors jump off the print! The blues in the water and the crimson on the rainbow trout really stands out. If you prefer, I can have your order printed on another quality paper in a matte finish. I recommend staying with the metallic paper. You will be satisfied.

5) Due to the file sizes of photos that I am allowed to upload onto my website, the photo you order may be slightly larger and appear better than on your computer screen. I also find that the photos look much better on the metallic paper than they do on my computer.

6) My wife and I live in a remote area on an Adirondack lake. The town doesn't even plow the snow on the right of way to our home. Also, it is not unusual for us to lose electrical power during storms. I do have a generator that will allow me to stay on line to receive and send orders. There may be times when your order is delayed though due to inclement weather or if my wife and I are called away for an emergency or vacation. Please be patient. Your order will be filled as soon as possible. If there will be an unusual delay, I will notify you via the email address you provide. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

7) Any order requests that are different from the standard options on my website must be negotiated. Don't hesistate to ask about other options. I am more than willing to consider all requests.

8) Prices are subject to change. Although I'm not trying to make a fortune here, I have to be sure to cover my expenses. I feel that the initial prices I have put on these photos is extremely fair. Once you see them mounted in your home, office, or camp, you will be pleased. I have done many searches on the internet for similar photos and have found very few...actually none. You are purchasing a photo or photos that are quite unique.

9) New York State Residents must add 7.25% NYS sales tax to total order price.

10 We all have times when we just can't seem to find a suitable gift for a friend or relative. These photos will be a hit on every occasion. Of course, the trout fisherman's heart speeds up when viewing them, but I find that just as many people enjoy them for their beauty.
